v2.6 adds two things the app never had. Badges keep a record of what you have actually done — eight rarities, a rank, a score and a board, awarded for playing rather than for spending. And SKR becomes a real currency here: enter a tournament with it, get paid in it, buy with it at a bonus, with no surcharge in either direction. Underneath, the prize ladder was flattened so that surviving one round is worth more than your entry fee.

The app knew your balance, your cards and your decks, and remembered nothing about how you played. Badges are that memory — earned by doing things, visible on your profile, and worth something.
SKR was something you could hold. In v2.6 it is something you can play with — on both sides of the transaction, at the live rate.
The old ladder paid almost everything to the last few decks, so most of the field played for the chance of a large prize and nothing else. The shape changed.
A round takes hours to resolve and card power moves the whole time. Until now you could see only the present.
The Cards page and the tournament screens each worked out card power for themselves. Most of the time they agreed, which is the worst possible property for two calculations to have.
Two decks holding the same three cards have the same power at every instant. The pairing card rendered that as neither ahead nor behind — the same blank it uses for a power it has not worked out yet.
